Siri is a voice assistant that allows the user to use voice commands to use an iPhone, iPad, Apple smartwatch, and Mac.
Siri is pronounced see ree.
To turn on Siri say: Hey Siri.
Another way to turn on Siri is to press and hold the power button for two seconds and then let go of the button.
To check if Siri is listening to you first before giving a voice command, first turn on Siri. If using the power button, then follow up with saying hey siri. Then listen for a verbal response before giving a voice command.
When using Siri, use short commands. Speak slowly, loudly, clearly, and close to the device.
